 Open the door, and the bucket seat moves backward automatically. Push on the back of the front seats, and they move forward mechanically to make entry and exit from the rear seats more easy.
Slip into the metal, leather, and fibreglass cockpit and stretch out your legs there is plenty of room because there is no steering column in the way; it passes down the centre of the car and the wheel is supported in front of the driver on a cantilever arm.
Engage reverse gear with a glance at the TV screen which has replaced the rear-view mirror; its camera is mounted at the rear above a bomb-shaped housing which hides the stop and reversing lights behind translucent material which looks like chrome — until the lights come on.
The same dissimulation applies to the rear lights. The body of coupé is moulded in fibreglass, the grille and bonnet (hood) forming one complete unit, hinged at the front.
