Per festeggiare i settanta anni della Carrozzeria Pininfarina al Salone di Torino del 2000 è stata presentata la "Rossa". Un prototipo marciante su meccanica Ferrari 550 Maranello.
L'impianto formale della Rossa è originato da due volumi che si compenetrano con una torsione delle fiancate, e riprende in chiave evolutiva quella della Mythos.
L'abitacolo è una prosecuzione della carrozzeria ripiegata all'interno, come sulle barchette degli anni cinquanta.

To celebrate the seventy years of the "Carrozzeria Pininfarina" to the 2000 Turin Motorshow has been introduced the "Rossa". A prototype based on mechanical and chassis Ferrari 550 Maranello.
The shape of the Rossa comprises two intersecting masses that intertwine on the sides in an evolution of the design of the Mythos.
The cabin has been created by folding the bodywork inwards, as on the barchetta models of the fifties.
